Pretty Clever Bride agrees. Ode to Paris and artful are perfect words to describes these Spring 2012 Vera Wang wedding dresses! Be prepared for frothy layers of tulle, romantic and dramatic silhouettes, and… color!

Yes, many of these Vera Wang wedding dresses are not white. The collection doesn’t go all out with color – there’s no flaming red wedding dresses here. But Vera Wang introudes muted shades of gray and champagne that suggest color without straying too far from traditional wedding dress palettes. The understated colors are a little sassy but still oh so elegant.

Overall, these Vera Wang wedding dresses are romantic. Most of the silhouettes featured full, layered skirts. Sure there are a couple of Vera Wang wedding dresses with mermaid silhouette, but even the fishtails in those dresses are exuberant layers of tulle.
