Wedding Dress Tuesdays: The Peplum Wedding Dress
The peplum style has been all the rave this season, so it is no surprise that the peplum wedding dress has been making its way down the aisle in recent weddings. The peplum wedding dress simply adds a touch of detail in the form of a layer; shorter in length, attached to the waist of the dress. Sometimes this layer is made with the same material as the rest of the dress and sometime this layer uses a different fabric to create a bit of texture blocking, which really brings attention to the waist area of the bride.
This look may not be for everyone, but I do suggest you give it a try at your bridal dress fitting. I say this simply because this style can accentuate a waist, create the illusion of a curvier figure and conceal mid section bulge.
